PensionSoft's Secure Pension Portal allows participant information stored within DB Precision to be securely accessed online by plan participants, plan sponsors, and internal DB Precision user staff.
Once a Plan Sponsor has been added to the PensionSoft portal, there are 3 different types of users that will be able to access the portal:
- Administrators: these are internal users to your company. An Administrator is a Portal user that can have access to multiple plan sponsors on the Portal (and then have access to participant data for those sponsors). - Sponsor Contacts: these are Portal users that can access participant data for a single plan sponsor. Sponsor Contact logins are typically used by human resources or pension administration staff at that sponsor. - Participants: these are logins that only have access to one participant. These are typically used to provide pension plan access to individual plan participants of a sponsor.
Access to portal functionality for participants can be configured to be different from that of sponsor contacts. For more information on how to create an Participant Login click to go to the Portal Security Overview section
Portal users can do many different tasks on the portal including the following:
- Calculate real-time pension benefit estimates
- Produce final benefit calculation paperwork and forms
- View documents that are stored in the DB Precision document archive
- View and update Worktrack tasks
- Initiate new Worktrack tasks and retirement requests
- View and edit pension information
- Access Person Worksheets (stored in DB Precision) as Excel or .csv files
