When using PensionSoft’s Secure Internet Portal it may be necessary to create additional administrators and sponsor contacts. Generating the logins for these users can only be done through the Internet portal.
Once you have logged into mypensionbenefit.com as a portal Administrator, navigate to Administrator Security by clicking the main button on the Home page. On the Administrator Security page, you should see a list of all DBP logins associated with your company.
By clicking on a row for a user, a small window will appear that will allow you to generate a User ID and temporary password for that user.
For any user already created, clicking a user row will provide the option to remove the login or reset the password. If the user has been locked out of the portal, a lock icon will appear on that user's row and the window will have the option to unlock the account.
Please note that if, after creating an Administrator login, that user cannot access a Sponsor, verify that the user has been assigned to the Sponsor in DB Precision through the Sponsor Basic Information window by double clicking the sponsor name after opening that sponsor in DB Precision.
To create a Sponsor Contact login, you must first verify that they have been added as a Sponsor Contact in DB Precision. If not, open the Sponsor in DB Precision and then right-click on Sponsor Contacts and select the Add option. A user ID will be generated automatically by DBP. If you wish to rename the User you may right click and select rename.
Once you have created the Sponsor Contact in DB Precision, that contact can then be given a portal login. To do this, log in to the portal as an Administator, open the Sponsor in the portal, select the sponsor that you would like to create Sponsor Contact Login for, and then press Sponsor Security.
By clicking a Sponsor user ID, a window will appear in the middle of your browser allowing you to generate a User ID and temporary password.
