The above rates are updated each month and are derived from noticies published by the IRS. These rates are automatically updated in DB Precision by PensionSoft through an automatic process once they are released.

All rates are updated in accordance with guidance as described in the Federal Register. Using this methodology, the 12-year yield is compared to the table in the register to determine the corresponding rate. This provides the two-month forward applicable rate.
