Person Worksheets Overview

The participant data for DB Precision is stored on your network in a relational database inside several different tables. Most people do not work with relational databases however, and are instead accustomed to working with data in Excel Worksheets.

DB Precision includes the ability to view participant data as if it were in Excel.

  • View/Query Data: Person Worksheets can quickly be created on-the-fly to create real-time, two-dimensional views of the data. By using the ability to filter data based upon column values, you can query a sponsor's participant data and determine which individuals satisfy one or more criteria.
  • Edit Data: for any Person Worksheet, you can edit values to make data changes to the data. As with any change made, these changes are recorded in the transaction log.
  • Delete Data: by deleting Reported Amounts or benefits in a worksheet, you can delete those amounts from the database. If you highlight a whole column of Reported Amounts and press delete, you can delete the Reported Amount for everybody.
  • Portal Listings: you can make any Person Worksheet viewable over the portal so that sponsor contacts can generate real-time listings of their data.
