The Existing Plan Wizard screen can be used to automate some of the more common programming tasks when setting up a plan or modifying an existing plan.
- Insert Benefit Override: with either a Benefit Payment Set or a Formula Derived Item selected, this will modify the formula to include an override that references a chosen Reported Amount.
- Greater of Deferred/Immediate Lump Sum: when the Optional Benefits branch of a Benefit Payment Set is selected, choosing this option will modify the lump sum option in the plan to take the greater of the deferred and immediate lump sum factors.
- Freeze the Plan: select this option when the plan needs to be changed to incorporate a plan freeze. Once selected, a second screen will appear giving choices on what should be frozen. See Plan Wizard - Plan Freeze for more information.
- Create Reported Amount Lookup: when the tree item, Formula Derived Items is selected, this option will create a lookup for a chosen Reported Amount as of the calculation date.
- Create Status Code Definition: when the tree item, Formula Derived Items is selected, choosing this option will create an item, StatusCode, which will return a participants status as of the calculation date.
- Create Calculate Function: select this option to create a Formula Derived Item which will calculate a chosen item as of some date (Derived Date or Formula Derived Item).
- Add Standard Exports: generates automated export definitions and forms for Benefit Estimates, Election Forms, and/or Benefit Statements. Here the user can select the types of Exports to create and select which definitions to use for items such as Benefit Payment Set and Average Earnings.
