If there is a group of Users that should all have the same rights to DB Precision, then you should create a User Group and then put each User in that Group. To create a User Group, follow the following steps
(please note that only System Administrators may complete these steps):
- 1) Create the Group: press File and then select New - User Group from the menu. This will result in a tab being created containing a Group called New Group.
- 2) Rename the Group: right-click the Group name (New Group) and select Rename from the menu. Then choose a new name for the Group.
- 3) Define the Group's Standard Rights: double-click on the item Standard Rights to open the Standard Rights Screen and define the default rights for the Group.
- 4) Define the Group's Sponsor Rights Exceptions: if there are rights for the Group that are different from the Standard Rights defined above, you should create a Rights Exception for that sponsor. To do this, right-click on the item Sponsor Rights Exceptions and select Add from the resulting menu. Then double-click on the newly created item 00-0000001 - No Matching Sponsor EIN to open the Rights Exception Screen and define the specific rights for the Plan Sponsor.
- 5) Save the Group: press File and then select Save from the menu. The Group will not be stored in the database until you actually save the Group.
