The easiest way to write a formula is to use the Formula Writer found in the DBPXL tab. The following steps walk you through creating a basic Life Annuity factor:
- 1) Open the Formula Writer: go to the DBPXL tab in Excel and press the Formula Writer button.
- 2) Select Actuarial Equivalence and Payment Form: select "Sample AE" for Actuarial Equivalence and then select "LA" (Life Annuity) for Payment Form.
- 3) Create Formula: click the OK button, and a formula will be inserted into the active cell in your Excel workbook.
