While the DBPXL Add-in allows users to specify interest rates directly in the add-in functions themselves, it is generally easier to maintain the rates here and then have these rates automatically used in factor determination (when interest rate basis floats).
To view/maintain these rates, choose the rate type from the drop-down list and then press the view button to view the historical rates. To add new rates, enter them on each of these pages.
If DB Precision is also installed on your network, these rates will update automatically.
This gives users a view of the underlying DBPXL tables used for both Actuarial Equivalence and Forms of Payment for both audit and comparison purposes.
PensionSoft's DBPXL Add-in is leased on an annual basis. Once the license expires, certain features become unusable. We will periodically send you license strings to update your license by sending you an Update Key. To update, paste the key provided into the Update Key box and then press the Update button.
Note that the license key update only needs to be done once for your network (and not separately on each machine).
By clicking on the Configure button, you can specify the SQL Database Server name, Password for the SQL login PSUser, and ODBC Driver.
Use the Load and Save buttons to load or save configuration settings to the file, PSConfig.txt. If you put this file in the folder "c:\program files\pensionsoft\dbpxl", these settings will be loaded automatically when Excel is started.
If you update the password for the SQL login, PSUser, at any time, please click here for instructions on reconfiguring DBPXL.
