Worktrack Description

Worktrack Definitions allow for the tracking of tasks that are processed by actuarial and TPA firms as well as Plan Sponsors.

Tracking can be monitored both within DB Precision as well as on the portal. Tasks can be associated with archives that can be both uploaded and viewed for that task on the portal.

Alerts as well as emails can be configured to be displayed and sent at various stages of each Worktrack Task.

A Plan Sponsor can have more than one Worktrack Definition. Examples of definitions that you might use to track tasks include those for initiating retirement payments as well as for tracking the completion of participant paperwork such as for a plan termination.

Worktrack Task Definition Creation

To add a new Worktrack Definition, open the Plan Sponsor, right-click Worktrack Tasks and select Add from the resulting menu. Here you will be allowed to use the Task Wizard to create the task or alternatively can create a blank task.

Once created, give the definition a name and then double-click the new definition to open the Worktrack Definition screen. Here, you can then add or edit steps, set up email notifications for task creation and completion, and set limits on the number of tasks a person can create. Additionally, task creation can be allowed using the portal and inputs for this process can be configured by pressing the Configure button.

Please note that once tasks exist for a definition, you will be unable to add or delete steps from a task. If you need to do this, you will need to create a new definition.
