Step 10: Person Worksheets

One section in the portal called "Person Listings" allows sponsor contacts to create real-time listings of their pension data stored in DB Precision. These listings can be opened as either an Excel or comma delimited file by the portal user.

The information contained in these listings comes from Person Worksheets that are in DB Precision for a sponsor (including the sorting, headers, and filters that are available with Person Worksheets). DB Precision takes these worksheets and saves them as documents at the moment that the portal user selects that listing to view.

To make a Person Worksheet viewable as a Person Listing within the portal by sponsor contacts, open the Plan Sponsor and then double-click the name of the Worksheet to open the Person Worksheet screen. Check the box "Sponsor Contacts can view on portal" and then complete the following two items:

  1. Display as: this box allows you specify the name for this listing (note that this item can include spaces), "Address Listing" for example.
  2. Description: this allows you to provide a more detailed description for the listing entry that then appears in the portal next to the name assigned above.
