The Validation Definition - User Defined Items Screen is used to define the rules for a specific custom error.

• Name: enter a name for the customized error.
• Error Type: identify the type of validation. Select either Error, Warning, or Message.
• Description: space to provide a brief description of the error.
• Formula: enter the formula that defines the actual validation here. An error will be displayed for a Person if the result from this formula equals TRUE (1).
• Error/Warning/Message Text to Display: space to insert the text that you wish to display when the formula above equals TRUE for a Person.
