Notes Definition
The Notes Definition Screen is a place to record a note that relates to a Plan Document and set it up to display upon certain events. Plan Notes are a useful way to document unique features about a plan, as well as record background information for reference in the future.
Screen Items
  • Note Text: place to enter the text of your note.
  • Events triggering display of plan note: select which of the following events will cause this note to pop-up on the screen for display. Multiple selections are possible, as well as none.

    • Plan Events
      • Plan Open: by checking this box, the note will display each time this Plan is opened.
      • Plan Save: by checking this box, the note will pop-up whenever this Plan is saved.
      • Plan Export: a check here indicates the note will display when an export is run for this Plan.
      • Valuation Snapshot: a check here indicates the note will pop-up when a Valuation Snapshot is run for this Plan.
      • Data Request: check this box to have the note display when a data request is run for this Plan.
    • Person Events/Filter
      • Person Calculation: by checking this box, the note will pop-up whenever a calculation is run for a Person on the system.
      • Participant Web Calculation: check this box to have the note display when a Person runs a calculation on the web.
      • Sponsor Web Calculation: check this box to have the note pop-up when a Sponsor Contact runs a calculation on the web.
