• New Elapsed Time Service Method: adds new method for calculating elapsed time service, No Borrowing (365.25)

• 2021 417(e) Floating Mortality Table Support: includes support for 2021 417(e) mortality for when the floating 417(e) basis is chosen and where the measurement date is on or after the 2021 year.

• 1.401(a)(9)-6 CAF Limits: when measuring limits for certain periods and beneficiary fractions under 1.401(a)(9)-6, now limits based upon the age measurement date specified (on the advanced screen) rather than always based upon payment start date (ACD).

• Reported Amount Additional Identifier: includes ability to store a third additional identifier for Reported Amounts.

• Sponsor Numeric to Text and Valuation Extract: now allows users to extract text values when using a numeric to text conversion for a Reported Amount.

• Person Worksheet: now displays second and third additional identifiers within a Person Worksheet.

• Person Worksheet: when adding a Reported Amount column to a Person Worksheet, no longer requires that an existing amount already exists.

• Sponsor Archive Restrictions: includes ability to restrict Sponsor Archive access for a contact based upon the contact's Employer ID.

• Open in Excel: when a Person Worksheet is selected, this menu command now opens the Person Worksheet in Excel (rather than an Excel view of the Sponsor).

• Calculation Performance: adds two new optional parameters to improve calculation efficiency that allow users to explicitly tell the system to not recalculate a Formula Derived Item for multiple calculation and/or account determination dates.

• Annuity Factor Definition Pop-up Option: includes new dropdown that allows users to define the underlying CAF factor associated with the pop-up option (to define the additional amount payable if the spouse predeceases the participant).

• Derived Date Age Rounding for Points Requirements: includes new options for specifying age rounding for determining age in a points determination (previously, unrounded age was assumed).

• Export Sorting: includes option to sort export results based upon Reported Amount values.

• Sponsor Contact Selection: adds option to select multiple sponsor contacts in the same export based upon employer code for each participant.

• Export of Portal Registration Code: portal registration codes are now exportable using an Export Definition in DBP.

• System Export: includes ability to export Sponsor Contact employer code and name on export.

• MP-2019 Support: includes support for the newly released MP-2019 2D mortality table.

• Internet Portal Controller: for sponsors with multiple plans, when a participant is only a participant in one plan (based upon history of prior snapshot status), now hides the plan selection for those participants on the portal's calculation and worktrack request screens.

• Worktrack Step Result Types: includes new optional entry for step types that allow users to specify types for different steps and then include completion dates for those types in the Worktrack report.

• Portal Registration Email: adds new option to choose between displaying portal email or email stored in DB Precison on this screen (needed for emailing portal registration codes to participants).

• User Find: includes new Find option for users that shows all references to a User within the DB Precision database.

• Portal Transaction Log: when exporting from the portal transaction log, results now reflect any filters that have been applied.

• Document Retrieval: when two sponsor archive documents have the same document description, now also compares creation date timestamp to ensure proper document is published to the portal (this was already being done for participant documents).

• Worktrack Email: when a step is skipped, no longer sends out email normally sent on task completion.

• Snapshot Run Number Cap: prevents users from exceeding the maximum run number (20) on a valuation snapshot date.

• Grouped Average Earnings by Year: when using the option to group small average earnings units by year for developing average earnings, increases the number of years that can be calculated from 10 to 30.

• GETRPTAMT Function: corrects problem when using minimum parameter with this function (would always return 0).

• Rounding of Service Start Date After Break: corrects problem which could cause initial service start date to be incorrectly rounded when rounding after a break was specified.

• Employer-benefit Optional Forms and Relative Value: corrects problem where relative values were being understated for optional forms that were being reduced for the employee-paid portion of benefit.

• Deleting Items in Plan with Validation Error: fixes problem where the application could fail when deleting an item that has a pending validation error.

• Imports and Worksheet Saves for Participants with Unknown Hire Date: corrects problem when updating data using a person worksheet or importing for a person with a stored missing hire date where date changes were then not being applied in prior versions of DBP.

• Worktrack List: fixes display issue on the Manage Worktrack screen where data was being displayed as shifted to the left for edited Worktrack rows.

• Sponsor Controller Log Display: corrects issue where controller log display for a sponsor when viewing participant changes was not properly displaying all details for some "add" actions.

• User Options Screen: removes recently opened items and grouping inputs from the user options screen as these are no longer applicable with the new Office 2019 interface.

• Patch 1.02: corrects problem with new release that prevents updates to Worktrack on the portal for on/off hold or task cancellation.

• Office 2019 Look: updated to reflect new Office 2019 appearance.

• Call Center Interface: includes new call center interface, providing for fast participant searches.

• Open Portal for Participant: new ribbon button has been added allowing for a DBP user to open the portal for a selected participant and sponsor (without needing to separately log in).

• Lifecount Reconciliation and QDRO: now identifies QDRO participants that are deferred versus not deferred.

• Ending Certain Period Annuity Report: includes two additional columns for this report (payment type and certain period).

• Standard Report Status Determination: when determining status for ending disability, overdue terminated vested, and certain period annuity reports, now uses dynamically determined status rather than valuation snapshot status.

• Worktrack History Detail Grid: adds grid button to history tab of Worktrack Detail screen for easier information extract.

• Database Connection Properties: provides new option on the user's options screen for users that connect to DB Precision using Windows Active Directory allowing them to update their own database connection properties (previously, this would need to be done using Regedit).

• Import Item Application: adds new option for certain import items such as participant date of birth or date of death that will only apply a change to a person's record if it does not already exist for that person.

• Number and Text Conversions: allows users to tie numeric to text conversions directly to employer, contract, or additional identifier mappings for certain functions such as import, export, and portal display.

• Retroactive Payment Option for Late Retirees: includes new option to calculate accumulated payments with interest for late retirements.

• New Mortality Distribution Method - Interpolated Mortality Rates: includes a new method for defining mortality distribution method when determining annuity and conversion factors that uses interpolated mortality probabilities.

• Optional Form Non-taxable Basis: enables users to export the underlying basis (balance) used in the determination of the non-taxable benefit.

• Plan Export Wizard: when choosing Benefit Payment items in the wizard, now properly identifies those that should be formatted as currency.

• Plan Exports with Macros: when doing a plan-level export that includes a macro defined in DBP and where the user wants to generate a merged document, DBP now loops through each record to produce a document that separately reflects the macro for each record (previously this needed to be done using Word merge events).

• 0% PBGC Interest Rate: now properly handles 0% PBGC interest rate (October, 2019).

• Portal Controller Log: now includes the number of seconds each task takes to process.

• Internet Controller and Worktrack: utilizes horizontal rather than vertical build of Worktrack vector to improve portal speed for Sponsor Contacts and Administrators.

• Saving Request Email to Archive: when an automatic email is saved to a participant's archive upon Worktrack request, now updates the documents section of the portal to include this email.

• Renaming Items in a Previously Corrupted Plan: corrects issue which would cause the application to fail if renaming a plan item after opening a previously corrupted plan.

• Deleting Items After Deleting a Benefit Payment Set Definition: corrects problem where the application would fail after a user deleted a Benefit Payment Set Definition and then also deleted another plan item.

• Summing Accrued Benefits at each Termination Date: fixes credited service display problem when using this option as well as problem when deleting a termination date for a person but then calculating without closing and reopening that person.

• Sponsor Archive Tooltip: corrects problem where the sponsor archive summary would not show as a tooltip when a user would mouse over Archive Documents in a Sponsor view.

• Saving a Person: fixes problem when saving a Person after having both added a new archive and then changing the SSN of that Person and then saving which would cause the application to stop responding.

• Sponsor Contact Hold and Cancel Rights: now properly restricts access when a Sponsor Contact does not have on/off hold or cancel rights for Worktrack tasks on the portal.

• Plan Sheet Lookup: corrects issue when using VLOOKUP function on a plan sheet with a very large third parameter which could cause the application to fail when calculating.

• Elapsed Time Service Calculation: fixes problem with determination of service when no termination date exists under the latest method that was released, Standard (30-day month).

• Derived Dates and Service Requirements: corrects issue with some elapsed-time service calculations where the resulting date could be overstated if certain methods such as worked-in-month are used.

• Updating Documents on Portal and Worktrack: if a user updates an archive document on the portal and a participant is opened, the document in any associated Worktrack task is now also updated on the portal.

• Worktrack Duplicate Requests: fixes issue where the portal controller could allow duplicate Worktrack requests, even when such requests were prohibited.

• Certain Period Annuities with 0% Interest: corrects problem when calculating annuities with certain periods along with 0% interest rates.

• 415(b) Limit and Small Benefit Cashout: fixes issue where inclusion of the small benefit cashout in a plan could result in an understated 415(b) lump sum limit.

• Renaming Items Contained in Formulas: corrects an issue where in rare instances, a formula could become corrupted on item rename.

• Saving Bank Information on Portal: fixes information where bank information would not be saved on the portal if Bank Name was blank.

• Leading/Trailing Spaces in Worktrack Task Step Names: makes additional changes made with last release to correct for updates to tasks that are made within DBP where a step would not display as completed if it contained a leading or trailing space in its name.

• Patch 1.01: Internet Controller: limits cancelled Worktrack tasks displayed on the portal to the same constraints used for completed tasks (default 2-month lookback) to improve portal performance.

• Patch 1.02: Interpolated Mortality Rates: correct issue when calculating conversion factors using this new mortality distribution method where conversion factors could be off slightly (fourth decimal place) due to problems with interpolation.

Version 2019.19.7.18 - Released 07/18/2019

• Sponsor Text Conversion Definitions: adds new type of component for a Sponsor where users can define a mapping for numeric to text conversion.

• Text Conversion Screens: all screens include Delete All button to remove all conversions.

• Imports and Replacing All Benefits: adds a new check box to Import screen for when a sponsor that has multiple plans where the option to replace all existing benefits is selected. Users can now choose to then only delete existing benefits if plan number of an existing benefit matches the plan number of the benefit that is being imported.

• Import of Reported Amounts: includes additional detail on the import results screen to indicate what has changed for a Reported Amount upon import.

• File Import: adds better handling for files with large numbers of blank rows.

• Reported Amount Renaming and Assumptions: with prior versions of DBP, when a user would rename a Reported Amount within a Sponsor and save, the assumptions for that amount on reopen for the Reported Amount would appear as blank/unspecified. This has now been resolved.

• Person Worksheets: includes new options to hide portal columns on the portal display of Person Worksheets as well as allows for display of values converted to text.

• New Choices for 415(b) Limit: includes new choices when determining the 415(b) limit which allow for the specification of a maximum year when looking up the dollar limit as well as an option to determine the dollar limitation based upon payment start date rather than calculation date.

• Late Retirement Options: includes new option for late retirement to not actuarially increase benefits prior to termination date but only if termination date (actual or estimated) is prior to minimum distribution date (4/1 following calendar year of age 70.5).

• GETCASSN Function: adds new function to get beneficiary SSN in a formula.

• RPTAMTLOOKUP Function: includes new option to lookup a Reported Amount's secondary identifier.

• Formula Derived Item Portal Display: includes new option to convert numeric values to text for purposes of display on the Internet Portal.

• New Average Earnings Reported Amount Combination: adds new Reported Amount combination type that allocates the latest amount as of each period's end date (previously could only do this as of period start date).

• Export Bookmarks: adds custom column support to late retirement table bookmarks.

• Window Customization: includes new color-selection box for application window customization.

• Hiding the Login Screen: includes new option that can be set on both a User and User Group level to prevent users from being able to hide the login screen on application startup.

• Opening Items Already Opened: when opening an item that is already opened in another tab, now selects that tab rather than opening in a new tab.

• Excel and Word Integration: reflects modification made with last release such that Word and Excel open in a normal window state rather than maximized when opened.

• Main Ribbon View Panel: changes view of all check boxes to switches.

• Ending Disability Payment Report: includes new standard report that shows upcoming end dates for disability payments.

• Sample Participant Handling: properly excludes sample participants from validation tasks such as the match report, data cleanup wizard, and group-level validations.

• Portal Database Changes Log: users can now view this log for all sponsors as well as filter on update type.

• Administrator Portal Participant Listings: participants of all status codes now appear when an Administrator searches for participants on the portal (rather than being limited based upon Sponsor Contact settings).

• Sponsor Contact Portal Participant Listings: these are now displayed based upon separate settings (previously, only participants in groups of participants that were provided user IDs would be displayed).

• Portal Benefit Summary: automatically supresses main summary information for retired, beneficiary, cashouts, and deceased participants.

• Participant Internet Benefit Summary: now uses the default assumption specified for the plan if any to develop amounts shown on the participant benefit summary.

• Worktrack Requests and Employee Contributions: no longer prevents worktrack requests for non-vested participants if they have an employee contribution balance.

• List Control Sorting: now correctly sorts negative numbers when sorting numeric values.

• Import Wizard: fixes an issue with the Import Wizard when selecting "[Empty Column]" items and then multiple Reported Amounts after that column which could cause additional unwanted empty columns between Reported Amount items.

• Import File Preview: fixes issue where application would fail if no import was selected when trying to preview the import file.

• Import Results: corrects issue where some import results for beneficiaries were not displaying on the import results screen.

• Benefits Import: when importing benefits for a person where some information is carried over from an existing benefit row to a new benefit, no longer adds the COLA history from the prior benefit row.

• Leading/Trailing Spaces in Worktrack Task Step Names: fixes an issue where a step would not display as completed if it contained a leading or trailing space in its name.

• Worktrack Request Emails and Address: when the mailing address either provided with the portal request or stored for a person is non-US, now includes the country name in automatically generated request email correspondence.

• Adding Sponsor Archive Documents to Folders: corrects problem where, when adding a document to a sponsor folder, it would appear in the root archive folder upon reopen of the sponsor.

• GETBENLIMIT Function: when getting a limit for a year that was prior to benefit payment start date, now returns the value for that year rather than not allowing the returned limit to be less than the benefit limit on payment start date.

• GETCALCINPUT Function: fixes problem with function GETCALCINPUT where the parameter code being evaluated was off by 1 (to get salary scale override for example, a user needed to specify an input parameter of 2 rather than 1).

• Service Provision Unrounded Remainder Option: fixes an issue where service could be understated when choosing this option.

• Average Earnings and Working Days Allocation: corrects issue when allocating rates of pay to monthly average earnings periods based upon working days in a month which could result in an overstatement of allocated earnings when there is a mid-month pay rate change.

• Account Provisions and Fractional Interest: makes additional adjustments to the prior release to better handle first year deposits.

• Plan Sheet Save: corrects issue with last release where changes to Plan Sheets could not be saved.

• Pasting to a Plan Sheet: fixes problem when pasting to blank cells of a Plan Sheet.

• Export Bookmark: corrects problem with new Export Bookmark feature where a table delimiter was sometimes not being added when dates for rows were displayed as year value rather than full date.

• Data Request and Comments Containing Quotes: with previous versions of DBP, a quotation found in a comment field for a person would stop display of all subsequent participants on any created data request.

• Portal Security Screen: fixes problem where fill button was not disabled when refreshing the screen for changing plan number or pressing the fill button.

• Sponsor Portal Security: no longer disables plan dropdown box if there are no participants listed on sponsor portal security screen (was preventing ability to create IDs in some situations).

• Scheduled Database Backups: fixes problem when DB Precision is configured to manage database backups where an error message will be displayed if the application server does not have the same mapping to the backup location as the database server.

• Patch 1.01: GETHISTDATE Function: fixes problem with initial release which could cause application stability problems when using the GETHISTDATE function along with a negative third parameter value.

• Patch 1.01: Create New Item: corrects issue where users would need to use the keyboard rather than double-click to select a new item to create.

Version 2019.19.5.22 - Released 05/22/2019

• Updated Interface: main interface has been updated to Office 2016 styling including new ribbon toolbars and replacement of the file menu with backstage view.

• SNFACCRUED Operand: includes a new operand that can be referenced on the optional payment form screen to get the single normal form of payment.

• MODE Formula Function: adds new Formula Function that returns most common item in a list of items.

• Breaks-in-Service: simplifies the break-in-service screen and adds support for hours-based break-in-service formula rules (previously, break-in-service formulas could only be evaluated based upon breaks from Historical Dates).

• Export Definition Bookmark Sections: includes new functionality where users can now include standard DB Precision calculation detail displayed as tables for items such as service and account calculation detail by adding and then referencing Word document bookmarks.

• Status Overrides: users can now create a Reported Amount that can be used to override valuation status codes (active, terminated vested, etc.) determined by DBP.

• New Status Determination Rule: Receiving QDRO/Deferred Retirement Annuity: if a person is receiving a QDRO and also has a deferred retirement annuity, participant will now be treated as dual status.

• Multiple Assumption Definitions and Snapshots: when running a snapshot where there are multiple Assumption Definitions for a sponsor, DBP now properly picks the default assumption for the plan (if specified). Prior versions of DBP required the user to choose the assumption even when a default was specified.

• Lifecount Reconciliation and Participant Death: now looks at default beneficiary rather than the beneficiary in the first tab when determining whether there is a beneficiary upon death.

• Data Request: fixes problem when generating a data request where, in rare instances, an invalid joint-and-survivor percentage could appear for dual-status participants.

• Using Tab Key on Calculate and Export Screens: corrects issue when using the tab key on either the calculate or export screens which could cause the incorrect items to enable or disable.

• Export Definition with No Default Assumption Definition: when an Export Definition has no default assumption specified or calculation history stored, now automatically selects the plan default or first assumption definition for the plan when running a plan-level export.

• Excel and Word Integration: brings both Word and Excel to the top when opening external Office documents.

• Zip Code Import: removes dash from zip code on import if it is the right-most character in that column.

• New Person Wizard: prepopulates more fields such as address and beneficiary information when manually creating a new person from another person using the New Person Wizard.

• Portal Emails and Group Code Restrictions: when a participant is in a group that a Sponsor Contact has no access to, emails on task start and end are no longer sent to that contact.

• Email on Worktrack Task Start/End: now will only send portal emails on task start/end if specified for an individual task (previously sending was solely dependent upon settings specified for sponsor contacts and administrators).

• Worktrack Tasks: corrects issue where optional steps that required all prior steps to be completed could be completed out-of-order and before other prior steps had been completed.

• Worktrack Report: now disregards comment dates when developing each task's last update date for this report.

• Pasting Blank Cells to Person Worksheet: corrects problems from pasting blank cells to cells in a Person Worksheet which could result in validation errors.

• Portal/Sponsor Transaction Logs: adds an additional column for item name on the sponsor transaction log participant detail and portal transaction log exported items to simplify filtering and sorting (had previously been combined in the action column).

• Optional Form Rename: when a Benefit Payment Set Definition has multiple provisions, now allows users to rename options to be the same name as options in a different provision or definition.

• GETSVCSTARTLATEST: fixes issue where DBP would return a provision start date if it fell after latest employment date and the periods were based upon Reported Amounts.

• Non-annual units and Consecutive Period Averaging: when averaging non-annual units, corrects issue where the 401(a)(17) limit was being prorated for people with less than one year of earnings.

• Account Provisions and Fractional Interest: corrects calculation problems for this option.

• Account Provision Screen: screen has been modified to provide more clarity on screen items.

• Certain Period Entry: corrects problem on Annuity Factor and Conversion Factor Definition screens which previously prevented entry of a non-zero value for the certain period if fixed certain period was not selected.

• Maximum Certain Period and Beneficiary Fraction under 401(a)(9): when an option includes both a certain period and contingent benefit fraction, now properly determines maximum allowable benefit fraction using ages as of the end of the certain period.

• Plan Export Item Copy/Paste: corrects problem on Export Provision screen where when previously copying/pasting, conversion values would not be retained on document save.

• Export Item Screen: corrects issue on the Item Export Screen where the application would fail when changing format type for a Benefit Payment Set optional benefit where the new Benefit Payment Set did not have the same optional form of payment.

• Person Transaction Log Screen: adds functionality to archive filter checkbox.

• Person Transaction Log: corrects problem where invalid transactions could be added to a participant's transaction log when participant changes are made through the portal.

• Find Screen and Portal Controller Log Screen: fixes an issue where the screen would not display after a user pressed escape on either of these screens (required restart of DBP to display again).

• Plan Document Loading: improves loading times for plan documents.

• Beneficiary and Export Beneficiary Selection: improves the way that beneficiaries are selected when running calculations and exports.

• Patch 1.01: Application Start: corrects issue when opening DB Precision after previously closing it from multiple monitors where the application had been closed from the right-most monitor. With the original release, the application would then open as minimized.

• Patch 1.01: Mortality Table Paste: fixes issue with this release when copying to a mortality table where the pasted cells would not populate with the copied values.

• Patch 1.02: Portal Registration Codes: fixes issue where a primary key violation could occur during the process of generating portal registration codes for a sponsor's participants.

• Patch 1.03: Plan Sheet Save: corrects issue with this release where changes to Plan Sheets would not be properly saved.

Version 2017.19.3.25 - Released 03/25/2019

• 415(b) and Employee Contributions: now properly only limits the employer portion of the benefit when appying 415(b). Previously was applying to the whole benefit which could then result in an understatement of benefit amounts.

• Reported Amount Additional Identifiers: will now only import additional identifiers for Reported Amounts if the indicator for that amount is specified within the sponsor.

• 2019 Pension Portal: includes security compatibility with 2019 Pension Portal.

• Multiple Derived Date Provisions: corrects issue resulting from when a Derived Date Definition has multiple provisions where the returned date was being invalidated if it fell outside a provision's date range.

• Beneficiary Entries on the Portal and Average Beneficiary DOB: when using average beneficiary DOB on the portal (for plans that allow this), the youngest beneficiary is now identified for purposes of disallowing options under 401(a)(9). Previously, this was only being done for calculations completed in DBP.

• GETCADOB and Portal Calculations: now properly returns beneficiary date of birth for calculations done on the portal. Previously, this was returning missing DOB.

• User-specified Values: includes new formula operands (USERVALUE1, USERVALUE2, and USERVALUE3) that represent user entries completed by the user at the time a calculation is completed. Note that only the next-generation portal will support this new functionality.

• Maximum Certain Period and Beneficiary Fraction: provides new option that develops survivor benefits, conversion factors, and annuity factors using the maximum certain and/or beneficiary fractions allowed under IRS 1.401(a)(9)-6

• 415 Limit and Optional Payment Forms: a new choice to apply the 415(b) limit separately to an option without CAF adjustment has been added.

• Unknown Hire Date: Plan Sponsors can now be configured to allow for unknown hire dates (common for multiemployer plans).

• Portal Usage Statistics Screen: fixes issue where the count shown for the item "Participants Logging in During Period" could be understated.

• Person Worksheets and Orphan Records: corrects problem which could occur when saving a Person Worksheet where an orphaned record could be created if all employment dates and benefit information were deleted for a person.

• Multiple Server Access: for prior versions, the Transfer Data button (between servers) was enabled/disabled based upon restore rights. Now it is based upon multiple server access.

• PIA Earnings Amounts: permits Formula Derived Items to be used as PIA Earnings Amounts (previously could only reference Reported Amounts).

• Copying Data Between Servers: fixes problem where the application would fail when copying to a server where the sponsor already existed.

• Changing Servers: under the prior version, users would be unable to add participants or save items after switching servers within the same application session. In addition, an error message would be displayed when opening the Manage License screen after changing servers. These issues have been resolved.

• Projection of Reported Amounts with Multiple Identifiers: when projecting Reported Amounts that include the usage of additional identifiers, now consolidates final amounts that have the same effective date for purposes of projection.

• Sample Participant Names: sample participants can now have numeric characters in their names ("Sample #1" for example).

• Average Earnings and Option to Include Final Period if Increases Average: corrects issue in prior versions of DBP which previously could understate the average when using this method.

• Database Transfer Sponsor Transaction: when a data transfer is made between servers, that transfer is now recorded in the sponsor's Person Transaction Log.

• Formula Detail Screen: fixes stability problem that could occur when double-clicking on a Formula Derived Item in the calculation results screen if any plan definition in the plan did not have any provision.

• Status Code Determination: for plans that are frozen where a participant received a lump sum of his/her retirement benefit and is then rehired, no longer classifies the participant as a cashout if the person's vesting percentage has grown since rehire date.

• Reported Amount Import Item Conversion: corrects issues with the "Fill" button when setting up conversions for Reported Amount import items.

• Grouped Average Earnings Periods and 401(a)(17): fixes problem when using grouped average earnings along with the 401(a)(17) limit for participants with less than one year of service where the application could fail on calculation.

• Saving Data for Participants on Portal: corrects problem with last release that resulted in crossover participants receiving an invalid error message that the data could not be saved when it was in fact saved.

• Formula Autocomplete and Tooltips: includes enhancements to formula tooltips and automcomplete such as scroll button support for newer operating systems, wider selection box, and other display improvements.

• Sponsor Employer/Company Name: fixes issue which would prevent updates to any sponsor employer/company whose name included an apostrophe.

• 2020 417(e) Mortality: adds support for the recently published 2020 417(e) mortality table.

• PIA Level Income Option: includes new options for rounding PIA payment age when Social Security payment date is selected.

• Item Renaming, Deleting, and Find/Replace: corrects issue which could cause the application to fail when performing an item deletion, rename, or find/replace within a plan document that has a plan design problem.

• Drive Mapping Overrides and Exports: fixes an issue when using drive-mapping overrides (see System Settings) where the Word document for an export could sometimes not be opened.

• Export of Employee Contribution Benefit Detail: adds new exportable items that allow for details of employee-contribution derived benefits to be included in exports.

• Social Security Earnings: includes a new reported amount type, Social Security Earnings, that may be stored with effective dates that are prior to hire date. This then allows for the proper determination of Social Security Primary Insurance Amount (when full Social Security Wage history is known).

• Beneficiary Relationship: when beneficiary relationship is changed to none on the portal, all corresponding information for that beneficiary is now removed (same as when this change is made within DBP).

• Sponsor Changes Impacting Plans: corrects problem when renaming either a Reported Amount, Assumption Definition, or Employer Amount where those changes (including those automatically made to the plan) were not being recorded in the change log.

• Beneficiary Relationship and Missing Beneficiary DOB: now treats a beneficiary as existing when calculating for a person when that beneficiary has a specified relationship but no date of birth specified.

• Microsoft Office 2016 Update: fixes issue impacting certain machines that were updated in January 2019 by a Microsoft Office update that could then cause DBP to fail on startup or during an export to Excel or Word.

• Annuity and Conversion Factor DOB Rounding: now includes next-highest as well as next-highest coinciding as options for date of birth rounding when determining annuity and conversion factors (previously only next-highest coinciding was a choice and the Conversion Factor Definition screen improperly described this as next-highest).

• New Beneficiary Formula Functions: adds three new formula functions, GETCADOB, GETCATYPE, and GETCACOUNT.

• Calculation Date and Payment Start Date on the Portal: new option was added that allows users to turn off the feature for a Plan Document where DBP will automatically back up the calculation date by a day when it is equal to payment start date.

• Data Cleanup Wizard: when updating terminated vested participants, now looks at Benefit Determination Method to evaluate whether the payment form is Modified Cash Refund (MCR) versus life annuity (DBP previously assumed all Benefit Payment Sets with Contribution Accounts were MCR).

• Person Reported Amount Screen: fixes problem with display which could occur after a validation message was shown on Person reported amounts screen.

• Plan Document Law Type: includes new dropdown that allows users to indicate what country's pension laws the plan is subject to.

• Crossover Data Blocking: includes new sponsor option that prevents external changes to shared data for crossover participants.

• Person Archives: changes are now included in the transaction log.

• Archive Renaming: corrects issue when renaming an archive where the tab title would take on the name of the archive until save.

• GETCALCINPUT Formula Function: adds new function that can be used to retrieve calculation input values.

• Beneficiary Death and Valuation Snapshot: when a participant receiving an annuity payment has a beneficiary that is deceased, now requires that all beneficiaries be deceased before overriding the payment form to life annuity when running a snapshot.

• Snapshot Comparison: corrects display issue when running a snapshot comparison where Formula Derived Items that are dates appeared incorrectly formatted.

• Corrupted Plan Recovery: if a plan is corrupted (due to lost database connection during document save for example), DBP now allows users to open the corrupted plan and fix the problem (previously required PensionSoft assistance).

• Duplicate Worktrack Tasks: corrects issue where two worktrack tasks with different task names but the same calculation dates and payment start dates would incorrectly be identified as duplicate requests.

• Compensation Limit and Dropout Periods: fixes issue when determining the compensation limit for non-annual, consecutive periods that included periods with $0 earnings where the compensation limit could then have been understated.
